Robert McGlynn graduated from the University of Florida with Honors in 2006 and received his Juris Doctorate with Honors in 2009 from Florida State University. Mr. McGlynn has been licensed to practice law in Florida since 2009.
Mr. McGlynn has dedicated himself to helping families navigate their way through the legal system and routinely litigates high conflict cases. From divorces, paternity actions, and domestic violence injunctions, Mr. McGlynn has represented his clients in all aspects of family law.
Mr. McGlynn approaches each case from a results-orientated perspective, asking his clients to set out their goals at the onset of the case so he can work towards them. Mr. McGlynn understands that amicable resolutions may not always be possible and is unafraid to aggressively litigate matters when needed.
Mr. McGlynn has been recognized for his dedication to family law, having been honored as a Super Lawyer Rising Star every year since 2020. Only 2.5% of all lawyers in Florida are selected as Super Lawyers Rising Star. Mr. McGlynn is also member of the Florida Bar Family Law Section and routinely engages in continuing education to stay up to date on the evolving nature of family law in Florida.
Mr. McGlynn serves on the Board of Directors for the Mary and Martha House. The Mary & Martha House provides emergency and transitional housing and support services to homeless women, victims of domestic violence and their dependent children so that they will gain employment and successfully secure permanent housing.
Mr. McGlynn is married and has two incorrigible children, a girl and a boy. Mr. McGlynn has coached his little boy’s tee-ball team and enjoys spending time with his friends and family. Mr. McGlynn enjoys family trips to Disney World, golfing (poorly) with his friends, and going to University of Florida football games.
